Review: Genetics lesson plans for health education curriculum considering the complexities of addictions and the brain, created by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, published by the University of Utah. Many of the lesson plans are interactive and designed for middle and senior school students and teachers - though, because this is a US resource, the lesson plans are not designed to fit the Australian curriculum. Still,  a number of the graphics could be used with parents when addressing safe partying and brain development. NIDA is an internationally-recognized education program that translates science and health for non-experts.
