Review: Details the alcohol restrictions that are in place in 19 Indigenous communities across Queensland. These restrictions ban or limit the amount and type of alcohol that can be taken into a community. In some communities abstinence is encouraged with alcohol being completely banned. The aim of the alcohol reforms is to reduce alcohol-related harm through a combination of the alcohol restrictions, improved services and partnerships between government and communities. There are limited 'bona fide' traveller exceptions in some areas. It is important to check before entering the area.
