Review: Principal non-government organisation for public health in Australia. The peak body with state and territory branches works to promote the health and well-being of all Australians by advocating better population health outcomes based on prevention, the social determinants on health and equity principles. Members have access to professional development, special interest groups (including an "alcohol" specialty group), and a journal, the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health. Position papers on a number of alcohol and drug related topics.
