Review: Information targeted towards injecting drug users to increase knowledge about safe injecting techniques and practices to reduce harms to self and others.  The site includes education on health promotion and details of where to access free sterile injecting equipment including needles, syringes, filters, sterile water and swabs. Training for individuals and organisations on blood-borne virus transmission and prevention is available by appointment. Advocacy and referral services available. Coordinates harm reduction and health promotion campaigns, including some targeted towards indigenous communities. All programs, resources and campaigns are peer tested prior to release to the general public. Support is available for workplaces wanting to install a sharps disposal unit on their premises.
