Review: Established national harm reduction campaign encouraging adults to give up alcohol and be sober for the month of July. Participants are encouraged to be sponsored. Money raised goes to support cancer research throughout Australia. An excellent example of a coordinated public relations campaign that encourages individuals to become more aware of how and when they drink alcohol while simultaneously raising community awareness of the effects of alcohol and making a contribution to cancer research and services. Individuals or groups can register their interest in being involved. Tools, news, fun video clips and hints are also available.
