Review: Government link to grant and tender opportunities, and publications in response to the findings of the National Ice Taskforce. While the taskforce was established to primarily address the community, health and budget challenges being experienced as a result of a rapid shift in the types of amphetamine being used and supplied, there is scope for health, academic and community organisations to develop research, treatment and early intervention initiatives to reduce the harms of a variety of illicit substances. The taskforce also acknowledges the health, social and financial costs of comorbidity issues within the framework and provides regular opportunities to apply for funding for initiatives which reduce overall harms to individuals and communities.
