Review: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians' experiences of loss are multifaceted and complex, and involve the 'normal' losses that people experience as well as other losses that are specific to Indigenous Australians. Professionals working with traumatised Indigenous youth can access research and resources that provide a focus on historical and cultural ways of dealing with loss while balancing best practice principles. Positive mental health for all generations is paramount to healthy minds, bodies, families and communities.
