There are outreach projects and early intervention programs for Indigenous young people and their families in rural and remote communities. Check local Victorian non-government and local primary health care centres to see if the program is available. This is a great site for consumers of cannabis to gain simple tips to reduce or to give up the drug. The site provides honest information in a user-friendly manner. Highly recommended.

Review: Independent not-for-profit organisation with volunteers who donate their time to patrol the Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley and Caxton Street precincts, watching out for anyone in crisis, at risk or in need. Services include crisis intervention, conflict resolution, front-line first aid (including alcohol or drug overdose), public counselling and guidance, secondary victim support and welfare assistance. This rapid response service works in partnership with other official services - Police, Ambulance, City Council, venue management and security, and taxi operations. A practical outreach, prevention and harm reduction community service supporting people to party safely.
