Internet Explorer instructions

Add the ADIN search

  1. Download and install the IE ADIN Search plugin for your browser.

 

Add ADIN to your Internet Explorer browser
  1. Optional: check the box to "Make this my default search provider".
  2. Click the "Add" button to add ADIN to your Internet Explorer browser.

 

The ADIN search is now installed. You can search ADIN from any website while using Internet Explorer.

Change the order of the search engines

 

Manage Search Providers in Internet Explorer (version 8)
  1. Click on Manage Search Providers*, then on ADIN.
View and manage Internet Explorer (version 8) add-ons
  1. Move it up or down the list using the Move Up and Move Down links.*

 

Optional: click the Set as default button to set ADIN as the default search provider.

* Internet Explorer 8 shown. Steps will vary for other versions of Internet Explorer.

Delete the ADIN search

  1. Go to Manage Search Providers.
  2. Click on ADIN, then on the Remove button.

You can add the ADIN search back again at any time.

 


 

Firefox instructions

Add the ADIN search

  1. Stay here on the ADIN website.
  2. Click on the drop-down arrow in the Web search field (to the right of the address bar).

 

Add ADIN to your Firefox browser
  1. Go to the bottom of the list that appears and click on "Add ADIN".

 

The ADIN search is now installed. You can search ADIN from any website while using Firefox.

Change the order of the search engines

  1. Click on Manage Search Engines, then on ADIN.
  2. Move it up or down the list using the Move Up and Move Down buttons.

The search engine at the top of the list will be the default.

Delete the ADIN search

  1. Go to Manage Search Engines.
  2. Click on ADIN, then on the Remove button.

You can add the ADIN search back again at any time.
